Admissions
At St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, we value each and every student that comes through our doors. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that students and their families are as comfortable as possible and feel supported and encouraged every step of the way. This process is also provides an opportunity for you to have a one-on-one discussion with administration to ensure St. Anthony is the perfect fit for your child. Should you have any questions throughout the process, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of our office staff. We want this transition to be as seamless as possible.
Steps to Enroll
-
Inquire - The first step in the admissions process requires that all families complete the general information sought in our inquiry form. This will prompt the school administration to schedule a time for your family to tour our school, provide a time for questions/answers, and allow us to meet your child(ren). A parent and student interview is required of all new students. This may take place when you tour the campus or it can be scheduled once the application has been submitted.
-
Apply - Once you decide as a family to move forward with the goal of enrollment in mind, the application form needs to be completed for each child who seeks to attend St. Anthony. This form is more involved than the previous form, requesting documents such as your child's birth certificate, immunization record, past grades (if applicable), and other information that will help us make an informed decision with regards to your child's enrollment.
-
Enrollment - Once you have submitted the application, all required documents have been received, and the family interview completed, the admissions team will meet to determine if an offer of enrollment will be extended. Once this happens, you will receive a formal acceptance email detailing the next steps. It is during this process when you will select tuition plans, payment schedules/methods, etc. Once the enrollment process has been completed and the enrollment fee has been paid, your child(ren) will officially be enrolled and placed on the class roster.

How do I apply for tuition assistance?Depending on the grade in which your child will be enrolling, there may be multiple sources of funding available. If you have a K3 or K4 student, you should complete the application process through ABC and/or First Steps. Additionally, the ABC Grant can assist in providing funds to pay for Late Stay Care. For those children in grades K5-5th, you will need to apply annually through the FACTS Grant & Aid portal to receive any form of tuition assistance. There is a non-refundable $35 application processing fee that is collected directly by FACTS for this program. A new program available through the state is the Education Savings Trust Fund. All families with students entering K5 and those in 1st-5th who have been enrolled in a public school in South Carolina during the 23/24 school year should consider applying.
